Hello, I'm Joanna

Hello, I'm Joanna, founder of Mini Nature Artists.

I'm an Early Years Professional with a BA (Hons) in Children's Development and Learning and over 15 years' experience supporting children, families and communities.

Mini Nature Artists grew from two lifelong loves - creativity and the natural world.

What began as a way of combining these passions has evolved into a creative wellbeing practice offering nature-inspired experiences for children, families, adults and community groups.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that creativity should feel joyful, accessible and free from pressure. Whether we're painting with botanical inks, exploring the garden, creating with clay or simply taking time to notice the changing seasons, there is no right or wrong way to create.

Just opportunities to slow down, wonder and connect.

Why Nature and Creativity?

I have always been fascinated by the way children learn through curiosity, exploration and play, and how time spent outdoors can bring a sense of calm, wonder and connection for people of all ages.

Through my work, I have seen first-hand the power of creative experiences to build confidence, encourage self-expression and bring people together.

Nature reminds us that beauty isn't found in perfection, but in variation, change and the simple moments we often overlook.

This philosophy shapes every Mini Nature Artists session, workshop and project.
